WHO WE ARE

EKKIOS is a registered Religious Association based in Germany, dedicated to supporting believers who face isolation and persecution due to their religious and cultural backgrounds, by providing a recognized, contextually relevant church structure that offers legitimacy, advocacy, belonging, accountability, and practical support, resulting in sustainability and staying-power within their environment.

Consecration as bishop through the Archbishop of Kigali, head primate of the GAFCON community of Anglican Churches.

+Yassir Eric’s Consecration in March, 2024 was a major milestone on the way to establishing a recognized Church. In connection with his consecration, he received the clear mandate of the Anglican Church to establish an independent, regionally unrestricted Diocese among MBBs.

Ekkios Church

The church is at the heart of EKKIOS as organization and forms the core of its operation. All strategies are directed to facilitate the establishment of a worldwide family of self-governing churches consisting of members who are mainly of Muslim background and have received a new identity in the Body of Christ, the Church.

We aim to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected, valued and confident that they belong at EKKIOS.

The purpose of this initiative is not dependent on any one individual or organization but on the grace-filled functioning of the Body of Christ. We commit ourselves to communicating and representing our involvement with EKKIOS as an act of obedience and service to and as an integral part of the Body of Christ.
